"I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight", "Hokey Pokey" and "Pour Down Like Silver" are the first three albums by Richard & Linda Thompson. The albums were released in 1974 to 1975.
"I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight" was recorded as early as May 1973 but was not released until 1974. The album contains 12 tracks including fan favourites "When I Get To The Border", "Calvary Cross", "We Sing Hallelujah", "The End Of The Rainbow" and the title track.
"Hokey Pokey" is the second album by Richard & Linda Thompson and was released in 1975. It contains the tracks "Smiffy's Glass Eye", "The Egypt Room" and "A Heart Needs A Home", among others. Richard Thompson was inspired for the album by Harry Lauder and Gracie Fields.
