Determined to flip their usual process, White Lies Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave, and Jack Lawrence-Brown entered Londons Church Studios to record the album live, inspired by the raw performances of The Midnight Special. The result is a dynamic collection that mixes muscular post-punk, progressive textures, and cinematic balladry, underscoring the trios evolution while staying true to their anthemic roots.
