AUTOPSY Mental Funeral (1991 UK 12-Track Vinyl LP, second studio album from Californian death metal pioneers Autopsy, widely revered as one of the defining releases of the early gore-soaked underground. Mental Funeral saw the band expanding upon the raw savagery of their debut, delivering a slower, filthier and more oppressive assault, dripping with morbid atmosphere, gruesome imagery and crushingly heavy riff work. A true cult classic that helped shape the evolution of death/doomin the early 90s. Housed in a picture sleeve complete with lyric inner, the sleeve shows moderate edgewear and creasing consistent with age and storage. The inner displays the beginning of a seam split along the edge opposite the opening, along with moderate creasing.
