On the 31st of December 2015 Mtley Cre took to the stage in their home city of Los Angeles for what was to have been their last ever live performance. It was the culmination of a farewell tour which had started in July 2014 and travelled around the world. They had signed a legally binding "cessation of touring" contract that prevented them from touring as Mtley Cre beyond the end of 2015, and while that contract was later dissolved, at the time this concert truly was "The End".
