MOVIETONE Movietone (Debut 1995 UK 11-track vinyl LP from Bristol-based post-rock outfit Movietone, closely associated with the citys mid-90s experimental and avant-garde scene. Their self-titled first album blends hushed vocals, brushed percussion, double bass and atmospheric instrumentation, creating a moody, late-night soundscape that sits somewhere between post-rock, slowcore and chamber pop. A beautifully understated and critically admired release that has since become increasingly sought after on original vinyl. Housed in a glossy picture sleeve, the sleeve displays notable edgewear, creasing and a seam split along the top edge, grading Very Good overall.
