Hot Rocks 1964-1971 reached number 4 on the US album charts and was in the charts for a total of 347 weeks through November 2020 and was certified 12 times platinum in the US.
In Great Britain the album was only released on May 21, 1990, at the same time as the Urban Jungle Tour. It reached # 3 in the UK and has been in the UK Top 200 for 278 weeks since then.
